This is my second contact with the author, and I had really high expectations since the invisible life of Audie Larue changed the way I perceive life. Taking that into consideration, Schwab didn´t let me down. The plot itself is intriguing and very well-developed. Even though Addie Larue was slowed-pace, this one was a page-turner. The way she switched between past and present made me unable to stop reading because I was eager to know what happened and what would happen.
The characters... God, what can I say about them? They are legitimately incredible and somehow relatable. They portray jealousy, ambition, and arrogance. Even the ones you´re supposed to dislike, you can´t deny their cleverness.
To top it all off, the critique behind the book is assertive yet subtle. I wish I could say more, but I´m afraid of spoiling the story.
The whole book was surprisingly exciting and gripping. I honestly can´t wait to read Vengeful.
